How do your shirts fit?
First off, please keep in mind that almost all of our styles are offered in what is called "fashion fit". These t-shirts are designed to be form fitting. Except where otherwise noted for your particular selection, all of our styles are offered in the following sizing:  Small (2-4), Med (6-8), Large (10-12) XL (14).  It is best to go up a size if you aren’t 100% sure. We've found that our customers who are on the sizing "edge" and go up a size are much less likely to need an exchange.  Clearly we want to ensure you get the right size, so feel free to call or email with questions if you wish.

How do I send something as a gift to a friend?
You have two choices.  You can send your friend a gift certificate from the link on our main website (www.boymomdesigns.com) that they can redeem with us. Alternatively, you can order a product from our website and have the item shipped to your friend.  Here's what you do. When you're ready to check out, you will find yourself at the "Pay Now" page. Enter into the "Special Instructions" field that you would like the item sent as a gift.  Then, go to the "change" link under the shipping address and put the address of your intended recipient.  Then, click "Pay Now".  You will be charged for the item, but your friend will get the delivery. This is the ONLY method we're able to use to send your item as a gift.  Two different recipients require two separate orders.

Can I wear a boymom shirt if I have sons and daughters?
Of course! Hey, if you have a son, you are a boymom.

Washing instructions?
Wash shirt inside out on GENTLE CYCLE or by hand if possible. These are not "beefy-T's" so take care to not throw them in with the football pants. They're dainty so treat them that way! :-)

Even though our shirts are made from pre-laundered cotton, you can expect about 5% shrinkage. DO NOT DRY CLEAN OR IRON MOTIF.

Why are your shirts kinda pricey?
Our shirts are limited edition, high quality and super comfy. We also have them screen-printed here in the United States. We are not a mass retailer. We’re just a little company run by full-time moms.

What if you are out of my size?
When we are out of stock, your size will not show up in your selection window. (i.e. medium boymom black s/s might not be available) This means that we are on back-order for that item and are restocking. Check back with us in a couple of weeks and we should have your item. We like to keep a full inventory of all items off our website.

What's the deal with the girlmom shirts?
The boymom brand was created to celebrate the special role of moms with their boys.  We've taken extra care to make sure that the values espoused by boymom reinforce the badge of honor that every mom wears as she raises a boy.

We created the girlmom brand to home in on a specific perspective:  girls today are bombarded with images and influences that suggest their only value is found in their beauty.  The trademark for girlmom was secured to combat this pressure on our girls.

We hope to establish a girlmomdesigns.com internet domain at some point in the future.
